Our Company Sustainability Commitment

We at Echo acknowledge that climate change is one of the major challenges of our time. As a leading third-party logistics provider (3PL), we’re in a unique position to influence behaviors that drive positive, environmental change.

One way we do this is through our systems, which allow us to track and report on our clients’ carbon footprints and provide opportunities to manage them.

Aims and Objectives

We adopt procedures that reduce waste through recycling, reduce polluting substances produced by our operations and materials, encourage our suppliers to follow environmental policies, and promote environmental awareness among employees, clients, and partners.

Responsibilities

Our leadership team implements environmental policies aimed at eliminating waste, pollution, and environmental harm. Our employees participate by reporting hazards which may affect the environment and adopting environmental products as part of our operations.

The Echo Footprint

We are aware of the impact that transportation has on ecological sustainability. Our goal is to create efficient supply chains, reduce waste, and decrease carbon emissions with additional focus on reducing empty miles and optimizing backhaul opportunities.

Conservation Efforts

Echo’s conservation efforts include single sort recycling, procuring energy star electronic devices, paperless invoicing, utilizing LED lightbulbs, and contributing to a carbon neutral fund for use of non-renewable products within our office space.

Echo supports this relationship between our company and our shippers and actively encourages our carriers to register with SmartWay. Echo seeks to mitigate environmental risks for companies and reduce transportation-related emissions that affect climate change.
