Environmental Sustainability
Echo is committed to leading sustainability in supply chain management.
Our Company Sustainability Commitment
We at Echo acknowledge that climate change is one of the major challenges of our time. As a leading third-party logistics provider (3PL), we’re in a unique position to influence behaviors that drive positive, environmental change.
One way we do this is through our systems, which allow us to track and report on our clients’ carbon footprints and provide opportunities to manage them.
Conservation Promise and Company Sustainability Initiatives
SmartWay Partnership
In 2010, Echo joined the Environmental Protection Agency’s SmartWay® Transport Partnership to measure and improve its environmental footprint. Echo supports this relationship between our company and our shippers and actively encourages our carriers to register with SmartWay. Echo seeks to mitigate environmental risks for companies and reduce transportation-related emissions that affect climate change.
